It’s still just in rumor stage, but from the amount of press this has been getting, I definitely smell something rotten in Denmark. Better be loud and take a stand now, THG fans, and let Lionsgate know exactly what you think about this. (For those of you who think what’s going on right now is okay, think about all the things that could have gone WRONG in THG movie. Then think again. Whatever disagreements have gone on, no doubt this is about money, and Lionsgate wanting more of it. I highly doubt you’ll get a better director that cares more than Ross.)

Gary Ross’s movie catapulted them into the big leagues two weeks ago. Their stock is up 13% because he delivered an unusual QUALITY blockbuster, keeping the film both “epic AND intimate”, true to the book, and drawing all demographics. Looks to me like they need a reminder from the fans that care the most.
